Hoffman, Wachtell & Rao, LLP and its predecessor firms were founded in 1983 by attorneys well-experienced in Workers’ Compensation Law. We remain focused on fighting for the rights of injured workers while maintaining a high level of individual attention to our clients.

The firm’s areas of expertise, together with its professional and paraprofessional personnel, enable it to serve clients with a wide breadth of quality services while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and individual attention.

We primarily serve injured workers who live or who work in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange and Bronx counties.  Appointments are arranged to take place at one of our offices that is convenient to you or we can arrange a telephone consultation.  We also represent injured workers who live out of state with New York State compensation claims.

Lee A. Hoffman, Jr. and Marc J. Wachtell began practicing law together in 1983.

Gregory Ippolito joined the firm in 2006 after spending several years working as defense counsel for a prominent Westchester County law firm specializing in the area of Workers’ Compensation Law.

Nancy E. Flaherty came to our firm in 2013 with a wide range of experience in employment matters including being a Senior Attorney in the Judges’ Bureau of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
